Educated at George Mason University, Peter graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He began his career in residential property management with McGrath Real Estate Services, managing over 300 residential properties for the US Foreign Service community. In 1999, he made a significant career transition to commercial property management to pursue his interest in commercial real estate.

Peter's career is marked by resilience and adaptability, demonstrated during the financial markets' tumultuous period in 2008. Despite the challenging economic climate, Peter chose to venture into commercial leasing and sales. This period, though arduous, reinforced his belief in the transformative power of real estate investments.

Beyond his professional life, Peter is a dedicated family man. He married his wife, Donna, in May 2001, and together, they parent their children Taylor, Victoria, and Aidan. He shares a special bond with his children, proudly watching Taylor pursue a successful career in cybersecurity, Victoria pursuing a career in the healthcare industry and Aidan progressing in his studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

He has a passion for outdoor activities, being a former triathlete and having completed numerous triathlons, biathlons, and endurance swimming events including those in Reston, Winchester, Salisbury, Charlottesville, among others. Today, he enjoys fly-fishing, landscaping/gardening, and hiking in his leisure time.

The memory of his parents also holds a significant place in his life. His father was an lntelligence Officer for the British Royal Air Force and later worked at the Library of Congress in DC in an intelligence office for the US Government. His mother, a Canadian citizen, worked at the British Embassy during WWII and moved to DC in the early 1950s. Both his parents instilled in him the values of resilience and determination, which have greatly influenced his career and personal life.
